Introduction

It seems like just another year of school for Max and his friends. Max is doing what he does best: chasing girls. Drew is faking being the good little boy. Neil loyally carries out the plans while Adrian tries to stop them from being idiots.

The REBELs' plan for this year includes terrorizing the math teacher, playing pranks on fellow students and generally making asses of themselves. Plus anything else they think of.

They’re doing a pretty good job of keeping to the plan when strange things start happening at school.
Students aren’t acting like themselves, and it’s not just because of exam stress. Something strange is going on, and the REBEL crew is going to find out what!

Maximillian Price
Nicknames: Max, Maxi
Age: 16
Height: 6 ft. 1 in.
Ethnicity: American (Danish roots)
Max will flirt with anyone, anywhere. He’s securely straight, but he does make people wonder sometimes. Stubborn, curious, hot-headed and very loyal, it’s no wonder he spends most of his time in the counselor’s office. He has an uncanny ability to make people do what he wants (which he accredits to his good looks).

Jamie Blass
Nicknames: Jam, Jelly
Age: 15
Height: 5 ft. 3 in.
Ethnicity: American (Irish/Scottish roots)
Jamie likes football, video games, playing in the mud and other sports. She also enjoys making fun of girly-girls. Usually laid-back, she can be very uptight sometimes. She has something like a mother-son relationship with Max.

Neil Reeds
Nicknames: Nickel
Age: 15
Height: 5 ft. 11 in.
Ethnicity: Scottish/Irish
Neil’s friends are the most important aspect of his life. He and his family aren’t on very close terms, so he has adopted a new one with the REBELS. Like Max, he has a temper, but he is better at controlling it than his best friend. Sometimes Neil is very good at picking up changes in relationships or mood.

Adrian Harper
Nicknames: Adri, Addy
Age: 15
Height: 5 ft. 8 in.
Ethnicity: English/Welsh and Italian (born in England)
Adrian doesn’t really care about anything besides his friends, grades and his outfits/hair. He has a very laid-back personality, but when things go too far, he will step in and take control. His family has some influence, so he gets away with more than he should. Adrian is very good at analyzing things, and that’s probably why his favorite genre is mystery.

Andrew Dorrison
Nicknames: Drew, Dwuu-Dwuu
Age: 14
Height: 4 ft. 10 in.
Ethnicity: American (Nordic roots)
Drew skipped a grade, and sometimes that makes him feel superior to others. He’s a bit narcissist, and he enjoys putting others down. Usually, he acts like a boy younger than 14, which lets him get away with mischievousness, but around his friends he shows his sarcastic, hard-edged personality. At heart, he just wants to accepted, but Drew still has some growing-up to do.

Scarlet Voulari
Nicknames: (NONE)
Age: 15
Height: 5 ft. 8.5 in.
Ethnicity: American (Italian and French roots)
She seems like a typical mall-brat, pedi-addict, cell-phone loving, whiny teenage girl, but under the surface, she's cold, calculating and a formidable enemy. Scarlet despises those who are inferior to her, whether in looks, status, or brains, and doesn't mind bashing those people right in front of them. Scarlet has only a few good friends, but she always comes first. She is very materialistic, and her flirting tendencies rival even those of Max's.

Mr. (Blake) Sinclaire
Nicknames: (NONE)
Age: 27
Height: 6 ft. 3.5 in.
Ethnicity: Italian (born in Italy and moved to America)
Mr. Sinclaire is a very complex man. Generally speaking, he's blunt, values punctuality and hardwork, hates procrastination and slackers, truthful, and kind (under several layers of general dislike for the student body). However, he can also be vague, cruel, and utterly apathetic as to what happens in his classroom. Mr. Sinclaire has an uncanny ability to understand what a person is feeling.


Paul Galens
Nicknames: Freak-boy/dude, Buggy, Parasite
Age: 16
Height: 6 ft. 0 in.
Ethnicity: ?

Mr. Laskaris
Nicknames: (NONE)
Age: 67
Height: 5 ft. 0 in.
Ethnicity: Greek
The stage is where Mr. Laskaris grew up and the stage is probably where he'll die. He has an authoritative air about him, despite his short height, and will not hesitate to punish students. He is very adamant about rules, and has a sadistic side that loves to torment the unlucky student, however, he is always willing to help out, encourage and listen to troubled students. After all, he is a grandpa.

Keelan   _?
Nicknames: Kiwi
Age: 15
Height: 5 ft. 9 in.
Ethnicity: Irish-American (born in America, but full-blooded Irish)
Timid when he's not on the stage, but confident and proud when the spotlight on him, Keelan lives for theatre. He has many insecurities, but is slowly becoming more confident about himself. He's very emotional, yet subdued and hardly ever angered. His parents disapprove of his sexuality, which is the major reason he's a nervous person and so eager to please people.

Chad Fergusson
Nicknames: ?
Age: 17
Height: 6 ft. 2.5 in.
Ethnicity: American
An all-around man's man, Chad doesn't put with authority from anyone and loves to feel power over others. He threatens others on a daily basis, and not even the teachers stop him. Max, Neil and he have been enemies since middle school.

Crystal Harper
Nicknames: (Mrs. Harper, sometimes called Crissy by Vincent or Colin)
Age: 39
Height: _?
Ethnicity: Welsh/English (born in England, moved to America)
A truly warm-hearted and caring  woman, she is something like a mother to all the boys, especially for Neil and Max, who don't have their moms. She is generally softer spoken than her husband, but will not hesitate to chastise when it is needed. Crystal shares a like for teasing and provoking people with Vincent. She appreciates good manners, but doesn't mind unrefined behaviour.

Vincent Harper
Nicknames: _?
Age: 42
Height: 6 ft. 2.5 in.
Ethnicity: Italian (born in Italy, moved to America)
He has a deep love and loyalty to his family, but sometimes he does not see eye-to-eye with Adrian, who is somewhat suspicious of him - and the many hours he spends locked up in his office, doing work, or out, meeting with a "colleague". He does not like people beating around the bush, but unfortunately must do it himself more often than he would like.

11/07/09 Trivia #1: Adrian and his brother, Colin are recycled characters from a much older story by Keith.


11/29/09 Trivia #2: Neil's middle name is Fergus.

11/29/09 Trivia #3: It's never said outright until a certain point, but Max's parents are divorced. His mother lives.. somewhere else. He and his father don't know where; the parents aren't in contact in any way.
